We at TRIKKS continuously aspire to learn how we can improve the user experience for our customers, so we can help to empower their learning goals.
With the help of customer feedback, combined with data from throughout our platform, we deploy updates that will help you have a better experience.
Our latest production update is all about improved user experience, live-on-the-page editing, intuitive layouts and more.
A simplified header design for all the tools in the TRIKKS toolbox. It simply consists of the title, a description, if available, and the 3-dots menu on the top right corner.
The users can find all the previously existing settings and possibilities within this 3-dots menu.
So what is the main change to keep in mind?
There is no edit mode anymore that previously appeared when clicking the 'Edit page' button.
For example, if you are an admin or facilitator setting up a quiz or a container - then you will see the options to edit each of the content in a container or each question in a quiz, live on the page itself using edit pencil icons:
We encourage the administrators/facilitators to explore the new layout of containers. You'll find the options to make any edits to containers in the 3-dots menu for those containers, as seen below:
and each sub-element in the container also has its own 3-dots menu:
Important to note here that when you will open another element from this container, it will open in a new tab.
For the link tool, now we accept multiple links, and not just a single link. The layout of the link tool was also improved.
Another key update in our current release is the user interface for 'Events'.
We will be sharing a detailed article soon that takes a deep-dive into how to set-up events and work with it.
Mainly, the user interface for events has been made more intuitive and it is quicker for the admins to set-up events.
The create event pop-up is simplified, you do not enter any dates in the create event pop up itself but in the next step to it.
There is a special option added that makes it simpler to set-up special types of events, say a single conference that goes on over several dates. In that case, you can simply add several dates and when participants sign-up, they sign-up for attending all the dates of this single conference.
Once you add dates to your events, you and the people you invite into the event will see these 4 highlight boxes containing all the main information about that event - the date, duration, location and price.
We sincerely hope that our customers will benefit from the above improvements. For any questions or concerns, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
