A new tool in the TRIKKS toolbox: The reflection tool

With the aim to provide course admins/facilitators with a simple tool that lets them set up reflection type of activities within their courses, TRIKKS toolbox now offers the reflection tool.

How to use the reflection tool

Start by clicking the +create button in the left side bar.

This should open the toolbox. Scroll to the reflection tool or search for it.

Clicking Reflection tool will present the initial pop-up where you can provide a name and other details to your reflection type of activity, and then open it to start building it, like so:

Here you have several building blocks to choose from.

A long reflection type of building block, for example, will let you set up a text box where participants can fill-in long essay or paragraphs related to their reflections on a topic set-up by you:

Note that it is possible to make the reflection activity as mandatory in the course, but this activity is not designed to provide a correct or incorrect feedback to the participant.

Thus there is no possibility to mark a reflected text as correct or incorrect, the way it is possible in quiz type of interactivities.
