Community improvements: Updates to the post types and layout

The concept of communities in the TRIKKS platform enables users to connect and collaborate with their colleagues by letting everyone create and share content with one another, facilitating social learning.

We kick-started 2022 with the release of a new layout for the community post types. The goal is for community users to easily navigate between different types of posts as well as enable intuitive editing of their current post.

Let’s take a look into what has improved and how can you benefit from the improvements.

2. Introduction of new post types such as polls and podcast:

We have made it easy to set-up quick polls with multiple possibilities to get interaction and participation going within the members of a community.

Also note that you can assign tags to your posts in order to classify them topic-wise and make searching for posts more effective.

3. Several useful functions in the 3-dots menu of each post:

Easily copy the link to a particular post or add important posts to a relevant collection within the community (admins and facilitators) from the 3-dots menu of a particular post.

4. While composing a particular post, members can choose to add that post to a particular collection - the collections that the community admins allow members to contribute to.
